With more than 9,000 food and beverage establishments competing for the same diners, a Singapore F&B loyalty programme is no longer a nice-to-have — it’s one of the few levers an operator controls directly. Everything else (rent, food cost, foot traffic) is largely out of your hands. Whether a customer […]

Most Singapore restaurant owners know they should be running birthday promotions. It’s been on the to-do list for months — maybe longer. The problem is never the idea. It’s the setup. Capturing dates, triggering messages at the right time, making sure the offer applies correctly at the POS without manual […]
Most Singapore merchants who don’t have a loyalty programme say the same thing when asked why: they’re not ready to change their POS. They’re on a system that works, their staff know it, and the idea of disrupting operations to get a membership programme running isn’t worth it. The Aptsys […]
Running a restaurant in Singapore has always been labour-intensive. But the pressure to reduce manpower costs has never been higher. Wages are up. The foreign worker quota is tighter. And good F&B staff — the kind who show up reliably, learn fast, and stay past six months — are harder […]
Most Singapore restaurants that take reservations are sitting on a missed opportunity. Every booking is a name, a phone number, and a real signal of interest — someone who chose your restaurant specifically, planned ahead, and showed up. But when the meal ends and the guest walks out, that data […]
A CRM for an upscale restaurant in Singapore is not the same as one for a casual dining chain or a food court stall. The mechanics are different. The tone is different. What members expect in return is different. If you bolt a mass-market loyalty programme onto a fine dining […]
Most Singapore restaurant owners think of their CRM as a loyalty points tracker. Points in, points out. Customers earn, customers redeem, and you hope they come back. It works — but stored value works better. If you have not added a stored value system to your CRM, you are leaving […]
Getting customers to join your loyalty programme sounds simple. In practice, it is one of the most frustrating parts of running a restaurant CRM in Singapore. You invest in a membership system. You train your staff to ask. But at the counter, during a busy service, with a queue forming […]
Walk into most Singapore F&B back offices and you’ll find the same pattern: one system for the POS, another for QR ordering, a third for CRM and loyalty, a fourth for the kitchen display, and sometimes a fifth just for reservations or delivery. Each tool does its job well enough […]
Contactless payment stopped being a differentiator for Singapore restaurants some time ago, even if a lot of marketing still treats it like one. Tap-to-pay, QR code payment, and mobile wallets are now the default expectation, not a feature guests notice or choose a restaurant for. If your ordering flow doesn’t […]
Restaurant member pricing is one of the simplest, most effective ways for a Singapore F&B business to turn one-time diners into regulars. The idea is straightforward: members pay a lower price than walk-in customers on selected items or across the whole menu. But behind that simple offer sits a powerful […]
Selling VIP memberships is one of the fastest ways for a Singapore restaurant to generate instant cash flow while locking in future visits. Instead of waiting for customers to come back, you ask your best customers to pay upfront for a membership that gives them more value than it costs […]
Running a restaurant in Singapore has never been harder. Manpower costs are up. Customers expect faster service. And you’re still manually chasing reviews, sending the same birthday promo to everyone, and finding out on Monday that Tuesday was your worst day in months. AI is changing that — but not […]
Singapore’s restaurant industry has never been more competitive. With over 9,000 food and beverage establishments competing for the same pool of diners, the restaurants that survive and grow are not necessarily those with the best food — they are the ones who know their customers best. A Customer Relationship Management […]
