If you’re a Singapore F&B business owner and you haven’t looked at the Productivity Solutions Grant (PSG) recently, you’re leaving government money on the table.
The PSG subsidises up to 50% of the cost of pre-approved technology solutions — including QR ordering systems, customer loyalty platforms, CRM tools, and self-service kiosks. For restaurant and café owners, this is one of the most accessible grants available.
What Is the PSG Grant?
The Productivity Solutions Grant is a Singapore government initiative that helps local SMEs adopt technology to improve productivity. It’s administered by Enterprise Singapore and covers pre-approved software and equipment — including F&B.
How Much Can You Get?
Qualifying businesses can offset up to 50% of the cost of approved solutions. The grant is paid as a direct subsidy — you pay the remainder, the government covers the rest.
Who Qualifies?
To be eligible, your business must:
- Be registered and operating in Singapore
- Have at least 30% local shareholding
- Be purchasing a solution for use in Singapore
Most Singapore F&B SMEs qualify. There’s no cap on the number of outlets.
What F&B Technology Is PSG-Eligible?
QR Ordering Systems — table QR codes that let customers order and pay from their phones, reducing front-of-house manpower
CRM & Loyalty Platforms — customer databases, loyalty programmes, and automated marketing that brings regulars back
Self-Service Kiosks — ordering kiosks for quick service outlets and hawkers that reduce queue times and labour costs
Queue Management Systems — digital queue systems for high-traffic F&B outlets
How to Apply
- Get a quote from a pre-approved vendor
- Submit your application on the Business Grants Portal at gobusiness.gov.sg
- Wait for approval (typically 4–6 weeks)
- Purchase the solution and claim your subsidy
Important: You must receive approval before you purchase. Retroactive claims are not accepted.
